Amazing in Archangelsk..

Have you seen this wooden skyscraper near Archangelsk before? I hadn´t. Click for more info on this amazing sculpture/building in the far north..and view the tanned guy who most probably is the artist/sculptor/architect..(how on earth can one put labels on certain things? And why do we really need to?)
"Homemade Wooden Skyscraper":
This is almost more folk art than folk technology, but it is way extreme. Sent in by Michael Krakovskiy, it shows a 12-15 story skyscraper built of wood built by Nikolai Sutyagin in Archanglesk, Russia, shown here. Called a Izba, in smaller sizes it is a traditional Russian wooden dwelling
.
This impressive and funny construction surely have a certain similarity to the old Norweigan wooden churches far up north, close to the polar circle..
